the new art of fringe planning

Next to account planning, connection planning, propagation planning and the likes a brand new discipline is added to the already complex world of strategic planning: Fringe planning.

Fringe planning

I really like the concept as in fact its core principles are already embedded in the way we look at marketing over at Boondoggle today. For starters, we believe that the true added value of an agency lays in the improvement of existing products & services or the development of new ones with the sole purpose of helping clients doing better business. Our entire Boondoggle Electric ecosystem is built on that. We even have our own innovation incubator called Boondoggle LifeLabs.

there's something about mobile

A lot has been said and done about mobile lately. But what is it exactly that makes mobile so special? And how can advertisers leverage the uniqueness of mobile devices and deliver true added value to their customers?

And while you don’t need to be an engineer to come up with ideas in the digital age, it helps dramatically when the agency has the ability to understand what can and cannot be built. That’s why agencies like SapientNitro are succeeding in expanding their business model – because they can balance the head in the clouds ideas with the feet on the ground know how

In a landscape where just about every adshop in town claims to be digital in some way or another, the true differentiator lays in the ability to turn ideas into relevant, long lasting experiences and touchpoints. A new reality where our newly launched Boondoggle Electric agency structure forms an answer to.

changing suits

What a year it has been. Between my move to Duval Guillaume Antwerp/Modem and winning the award for Agency of the year a couple of months later. During that time, we have created some brilliant campaigns, but most of all I have had the honor to work with some of the brightest creative and strategic minds in the Belgian advertising scene.

Nevertheless, with the turning of the year I decided it was time for something new as well. That is why I can announce that from January on I will be joining the strategic team at Boondoggle.
